Hypertension is often known as the silent killer because it usually does not show obvious symptoms, but has the potential to cause serious complications such as stroke, coronary heart disease, kidney failure, and sudden death. The incidence of hypertension highlights the importance of initiating and expanding student health intervention strategies to improve awareness, diagnosis, and treatment to prevent complications. Interviews and blood pressure measurements were conducted on 40 students, where blood pressure was found to range from 130-140 mmHg. Students have unhealthy eating habits, smoke, and rarely do health check-ups except when they are sick. The purpose of hypertension counseling is to conduct health screening and improve students' understanding of risk factors for cardiovascular disease and hypertension. On June 16, 2025, students were checked for blood pressure and given counseling on the impact and prevention of hypertension through PowerPoint slides. Counseling has a significant impact on student knowledge. The results of the average pre-test score ±SD 8.93 ±1.65, and the average post-test score ±SD was 13.7 ±1.13, with a difference of 4.77 and P=0.001 score. Therefore, free healthy living campaigns and health screening programs should be provided to college students.
