Speech delay is a disorder that affects the organs of speech so that there is a delay in speech in children who have entered the age of speech. Speech delay is included in the group of speech impairment disorders. Speech delay is the most common disorder affecting children. The reasons behind this disorder vary, ranging from internal and external factors. Internal factors look more at the physiological condition of the child; it is likely that the child has a disorder that he was born with. External factors can be obtained from the environment, such as family, learning environment, and play. For parents who have children with speech delay disorders, of course, they must be more alert not only to teach the learning process, but also to add therapy to the child. However, what happens now is that many parents do not understand how to provide therapy to children. The purpose of this community service at Yayasan Bintang Kecil is because of parents' complaints about learning methods for children, to help parents who have children with speech delay disorders to be able to become therapists during the pandemic. This activity is carried out to bridge knowledge with the community during the Covid-19 pandemic and help parents remain effective in carrying out routine activities carried out by children with speech delay disorders. This service activity also provides many benefits to parents because parents can provide therapy independently to children who experience speech delay disorders.
